Overview

As a Barber/Stylist, you’ll provide attentive customer service and hair styling while helping create a welcoming, well-organized shop experience. You’ll listen to clients, understand their preferences, and communicate clearly throughout each appointment.

Duties

- Consult with clients about their preferences and provide hair styling services suited to their requests.
- Maintain clean tools and work areas by following consistent sanitation practices.
- Support front desk tasks, including welcoming clients, coordinating appointments, and sharing service information.
- Recommend relevant products and services through helpful retail sales and upselling conversations.

Skills

Required: Customer service, explicit communication, hair styling,



and sanitation skills help you deliver attentive service, understand client requests, and maintain a clean work area. Front desk capabilities support smooth appointments and a welcoming client experience. Preferred: Retail sales and upselling skills help you make relevant recommendations while keeping clients’ needs central; related experience can support confident, thoughtful service. Your impact: You help clients feel welcomed and leave with a style that reflects their preferences.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
