Overview
We are a Government Licensed Child Care Centre that will be licensed for 60 children including infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educators to join our exsiting team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing environment that supports the developmental and educational needs of young children. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning experiences while working in a collaborative and supportive setting.

Duties

- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Observe and assess children's developmental progress, documenting milestones and providing feedback to families and team members
- Support social-emotional development by promoting positive interactions, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to tailor educational approaches to meet individual needs, including working with children with disabilities




- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols in accordance with licensing regulations
- Facilitate activities that promote motor skills, language development, cognitive growth, and creativity

Requirements

- Prior experience working with children in an educational or caregiving capacity is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Classroom experience demonstrating the ability to manage group activities and foster positive behavior
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is desirable
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting children's growth and development
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs

Pay: $15.90-$28.60 per hour
