Job Summary

We are a packaging company seeking reliable Delivery Drivers to deliver products to customers throughout Metro Vancouver. This role includes driving, loading and unloading, checking orders, and completing customer deliveries. When not making deliveries, you will assist with daily warehouse operations.

We are looking for someone who works safely, arrives on time, pays attention to detail, and provides friendly, professional customer service.

Proficiency in Mandarin would be an asset when communicating with management and internal teams.

Responsibilities

- Complete deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules, promptly reporting delays or delivery issues.
- Verify product descriptions, quantities, packaging condition, and delivery paperwork before departure.
- Ensure cargo is safely loaded, properly secured, and organized according to the delivery route.
- Safely unload products using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and the truck’s liftgate, placing goods in customers’ designated receiving areas.
- Confirm deliveries with customers, obtain signatures, and submit delivery paperwork and photos as required.
- Handle authorized returns and payment collections, completing the required handover upon returning to the warehouse.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, keep the vehicle clean, and record mileage and refueling.



Report mechanical problems and safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with picking, packing, moving goods, loading, unloading, inventory counts, and warehouse organization when not making deliveries.

Qualifications

- A valid driver’s licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle and a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
- Familiarity with Metro Vancouver roads and the ability to use navigation apps.
- Ability to safely carry out the lifting, moving, loading, and unloading required for the job.
- Solid attention to detail and a commitment to safe driving and cargo handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow delivery instructions and company procedures.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to use a smartphone for delivery communication, photos, and records.
- Willingness to assist with warehouse duties and work cooperatively with the team.
- Previous local truck delivery or warehouse experience is an asset.
- Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates is an asset.
- Experience driving 3-ton or 5-ton delivery trucks is an asset.
