Functional Medicine Doctor – Women's Health

About the Position

Sunshine Physio & Wellness is looking for a passionate and experienced Functional Medicine Doctor to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Cochrane, Alberta.

We are seeking a practitioner with an interest in women's health, particularly supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, including hormone-related concerns, hormonal changes, and overall health and vitality.

We believe in looking beyond symptoms and understanding the whole person. We are looking for someone who shares this philosophy and is passionate about helping women achieve better health through an individualized, comprehensive approach to care.

Sunshine Physio & Wellness has proudly served the Cochrane community since 2005. We are a multidisciplinary private clinic with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including:

- Physiotherapists, including specialists in pelvic floor health for both men and women
- Registered Massage Therapists
- Occupational Therapist
- Osteopaths
- Acupuncturist
- Registered Dietitian and Holistic Nutritionist
- Physio Yoga programs
- GLAD programs for individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis and back pain

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our experienced practitioners and contribute to a comprehensive approach to women's health and wellness.

What We're Looking For

- A qualified medical or healthcare professional with appropriate credentials and registration to practice in Alberta.
- Training, experience, or a strong interest in functional medicine.
- Experience or a robust interest in women's health, perimenopause, and menopause care.
- Knowledge of hormone-related health concerns and individualized treatment approaches.
- A holistic, evidence-informed, and patient-centered approach to healthcare.




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, compassionate, and passionate about making a positive difference in patients' lives.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
