Diversity Technologies Corp. is a privately owned distribution and manufacturing company providing chemical products to the Oil and Gas and Mining Industries.

We are currently seeking a local-to-the Grande Prairie area candidate for a full-time Temporary Transload Employee for our operation located in Huallen, AB.

The successful candidates will have a proven ability for developing excellent customer relationships, delivering value to Di-Corp clients and will possess exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Primary Role:

Manage, Trans-load and document the movement of products within the facility through the computerized tracking system, will also be responsible for the general duties of unloading, and moving rail cars at the Huallen Transload facility.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to customer inquiries, obtain orders and process them to completion.
- Coordinate and direct truck traffic within the facility.
- Load transport trucks using safe working techniques.
- Safely operate rail car mover and/or locomotive(s). Maintain certifications as required.
- Safely operate wheel loader as required.
- Unload and move railcars
- Receive product from supplier ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Inspect product being received for accuracy and quality.
- Accurate record keeping and documentation. Verify and sign inspection documents and checklists for products.
- Ensure accurate records are maintained for all internal and external product movement.
- Assist with the reconciliation and troubleshooting of inventory discrepancies as required.
- Conduct inspections of track, crossing and turnout, railcar movers, locomotives and railcars. Report, investigate and correct any deficiencies.
- Proper operation, certification and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain a clean work and safe environment within entire plant site.
- Prepare documentation and reports on product movement as required.




- Maintain document storage on computer systems by way of a document management system.
- Remain compliant with WHMIS and all other safety regulations at all times.
- Commitment to secure work practices
- Perform general yard and railyard maintenance – Snow clearing, mowing, etc.
- Other related duties as they arise

​​Minimum Required Education:​

- High School Diploma

​​Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:​

- Transload, Control, or shipping and receiving experience
- Intermediate computer, data entry and math skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Industrial Railway Operation certification and experience operating a Rail Car Mover
- Loader/Skid steer operation
- Mechanically inclined

Physical Demands:

- Occasionally Lift / Carry weights to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally Push / Pull weights to 150 lbs.
- Frequent climbing of railcars and ladders and able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Rotating shift work is required, including on call availability during days, nights, and weekend
- Successful medical clearance is required for this safety critical position
