Job Chance: Care Aide or LPN (Including Retired Nursing Professionals)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Aide or LPN to support a 22-year-old female patient with a seizure disorder and global developmental delay.

This role is ideal for a care aide or nursing qualified who may be continuing their education or balancing another job. Weekday shifts are available, as well as occaisional weekend and evening shifts. Hours and scheduling can be adjusted according to availability, and there is potential for additional hours if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, and tube feeding
- Working in tandem with Community Support Worker and/or other caregivers
- Preparing and administering medications, assessing patient's condition and readiness for daily activities
- Collaborating closely with a long-standing and supportive caregiving team

Shifts Available:

- Daytime shifts during the week and some weekends
- Evenings as available

Preferred Qualifications:

- Valid Care Aide certification or LPN licensing or retired nursing experience
- Strong hands-on patient care experience an asset




- Familiarity with medical terminology an asset
- Experience in hospital, home care, or assisted living settings is valued

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
