Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, and common areas
- Handle cleaning products and chemicals safely
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Dispose of waste and maintain a clean and organized workplace
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks on time
- Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns
- Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning or industrial cleaning experience is an asset
- Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items as required
- Reliable transportation to Collingwood
- Positive attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
