Overview

CLASS 1 DRIVERS FOR DEDICATED ROUTES. Monday to Friday Work. Every day home. Weekends and long Weekends off. Year round work. Timely pay. No touch Freight, switches only. Dedicated newer model trucks.

Routes: Edmonton to Kamloops, Edmonton to Prince George, Edmonton to Grand Prairie/ North.

Role: Transport freight on assigned routes, supporting dependable deliveries and consistent service. This role combines commercial driving with secure, careful handling of freight and equipment.

Duties

- Drive commercial vehicles on dedicated lanes, following assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Make sure Commercial vehicles have all the necessary documentation before leaving the terminals.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment, report issues, and perform basic automotive repair tasks when appropriate.
- Coordinate with dispatch and receiving teams to confirm freight details and communicate delivery updates.

Experience

Required: 2 years of Commercial driving capabilities, 1 year of Mountain Experience. Attention to safety, and the ability to handle freight and operate heavy equipment responsibly. Clear communication and careful vehicle and equipment checks support dependable work on dedicated lanes. Preferred: Related freight-handling experience, forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and familiarity with basic automotive repair are valuable strengths for this role.

Pay: $20.92-$37.01 per hour
