Overview

The Head Charge Nurse coordinates daily nursing operations and supports consistent, compassionate patient care. This role guides the care team, helps organize patient needs, and promotes clear communication across care settings.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate nursing assignments, monitor patient care, and support timely responses to changing needs.
- Supervise and coach team members, communicate priorities, and help maintain organized, accurate case management.
- Support medication administration, pain management, phlebotomy, and clear documentation using medical terminology and available records systems.
- Coordinate care with patients, families, and colleagues, including transitions between hospital, home care, and senior care settings.

Skills

Required: Practical nursing, patient care, team management, supervising, communication, and case management capabilities support daily coordination and protected, responsive care. Preferred: Hospital, acute care, dementia care, home care, assisted living, nursing home, senior care, medical office; medication administration, medical terminology, and pain management can strengthen your contribution.

Pay: $44.05-$52.00 per hour
