Shaad-e-Bangla is Oshawa's first authentic Bengali restaurant. We cook traditional dishes fresh daily and are looking for a reliable kitchen helper tos upport our cooks.
Responsibilities
- Assist cooks with food prep (chopping, marinating, portioning)
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Restock ingredients and supplies during service
- Keep storage areas organized
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Customer interaction and sales
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of Bengali/South Asian cooking is an asset but not requir
- Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
