Summary
As a Design and Drafting Technologist, you’ll contribute to the design and drafting work that supports industrial storage solutions. Your impact: Explicit, usable drawings help clients and colleagues understand proposed solutions and coordinate the work needed to meet client objectives.
Tasks
- Prepare engineering designs and drawings
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements
- Develop and prepare design sketches
- Write technical reports
- Write specifications
- Estimate costs and materials
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors
- Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements
Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge
- Computer-aided design (CAD)
- Autodesk REVIT
