We are on the hunt for a Licensed Hairstylist for our Southlands Crossing Retail Salon — 2011 Strachan Road SE, #107, Medicine Hat, AB T1B 0G4!

What You'll Do

- Deliver professional hair services including haircuts, colours, highlights/balayage, perms, blowouts, updos, and treatments, tailored to each client's needs and lifestyle
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend styles, colours, and products
- Create memorable client experiences through consultation, artistry, and genuine connections
- Build and maintain a loyal, repeat clientele by delivering consistent, high-quality results and exceptional service
- Handle both appointments and walk-in clients in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail salon environment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation in compliance with Alberta health and safety standards
- Process payments and assist with front-desk duties as needed
- Stay current on trends, techniques, and product knowledge to elevate your craft
- Confidently recommend professional products and additional services to support care routines

What You Bring

- Hairstyling diploma AND Valid Hairstylist License / Journeyperson in Alberta — both required
- Proven technical skills in cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing services
- Experience with cuts, colours, perms, and styling preferred — new grads with strong skills also considered
- Experience with children's cuts, men's cuts, and women's styling is a plus. Bonus for extensions, balayage, or waxing.
- A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences from consultation to final look
- Strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
- A friendly, professional, positive, team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced salon environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and passion for the beauty industry
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and professional standards
- Flexibility to work full-time,



40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday with a rotating schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends
