Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a busy Oil & Gas Services team in Calgary on a long-term contract basis. This role will focus on high-volume remittance processing, customer communication, payment reconciliation, and general AR administration.
Responsibilities:
Contact customers to update payment arrangements and maintain accurate account information.
Process high volumes of remittances and cheques, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
Complete and maintain vendor documentation in accordance with internal requirements.
Monitor and organize shared inbox correspondence, including setting up email rules for efficient processing.
Reconcile payment information and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate account records.
Use SAP and Excel to track transactions, update records, and prepare supporting documentation.
Provide general administrative support to accounts receivable operations.
Independently manage assigned activities while maintaining consistent service levels.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of accounts receivable processes and payment processing.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally by phone and email.
High attention to detail in a high-volume administrative environment.
Experience with account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reviewing, and organizing data.
Familiarity with SAP or another ERP/accounting system.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
