Job Summary:

An chance to be part of a quick response team providing initial assessment, crisis response, and brief intervention to children, youth and families in person, virtually or over the phone.

Qualifications:

· Masters degree in a relevant social sciences field preferred;

· Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences or in a social sciences field;

· Currently registered in a relevant regulatory body (CRPO, OCSWSSW);

· Experience in child/youth, group and family counseling in areas including (but not limited to) trauma, anxiety, suicide risk assessment, crisis intervention;

· Experience in collaborating work with schools and community partners;

· Experience and specialized training in the following areas is considered an asset:

o Brief Solution Focused Therapy;

o Narrative Therapy

o Trauma Treatment

o Play Therapy

o Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

o Dyadic Development Psychotherapy

· Knowledge of relevant legislation and community resources;

· Outstanding client service and a family centred focus;





· Demonstrated assessment skills;

· Full use of a car and be able to transport clients and hold appropriate insurance; and;

· Knowledge working with various computer programs including Microsoft Teams.

Salary:

· Wage scale - $36.49 - $44.26
