We combine expert formulation capabilities with efficient production operations to deliver reliable, compliant products to our customers across Ontario and beyond.

We are seeking a Production Planner to join our team and provide the forward-looking visibility, forecasting, and scheduling we need to optimize production, manage demand across custom and standard products, and support our buyer on material planning. This role will work closely with our Production Lead, Buyer, and Sales team to keep our lines running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Work directly with the Production Lead to translate customer orders, forecasts, and production goals into detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Develop and maintain master production schedules using ERP systems, spreadsheets, or scheduling software (experience with manufacturing ERP is a strong asset).
- Conduct demand forecasting and capacity planning to anticipate needs for custom-formulated products, bulk production, aerosol packaging, and delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, lead times, and material availability for solvents, cements, and raw materials in coordination with the Buyer.




- Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of production data, routings, and performance metrics for reporting and continuous improvement.
- Support supplier negotiations by confirming material lead times and availability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, and purchasing to align plans and meet customer deadlines.

Experience

- 3–5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations (chemical, adhesives, custom-formulating, or related manufacturing is an asset).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, with experience in ERP or scheduling software preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented team environment.
- Background in chemical or specialty products manufacturing, regulatory compliance (WHMIS, ECA, VOC, etc.), or inventory control is a definite plus.

Pay: $65,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
