Seeking a Legal Assistant/Law Clerk to join a full-service litigation practice in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal document preparation, file management, legal research, and administrative support, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Draft, prepare, and review legal documents and correspondence.

- Manage and maintain client files, ensuring accurate documentation and organization.

- Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.

- Provide administrative and clerical support to lawyers.

- Coordinate calendars, schedule appointments, and track important deadlines.

- Communicate with clients, lawyers, and other legal professionals regarding file progress.

- Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain effective client communication.

- Assist with litigation support and day-to-day legal operations.

Qualifications





- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk.

- Diploma or certification in Law Clerk studies, Legal Administrative Assistance, or a related field is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of legal document preparation, legal research, and legal procedures.

- Experience with litigation support or exposure to family, commercial, civil, construction, corporate, employment, or criminal law is an asset.

- Proficiency in legal software and document management tools.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Solid organizational, administrative, and time management abilities.
