To support a diverse range of healthcare clients, the full-time Certified Medical Coding Auditor will conduct audits, provide compliance education, and develop corrective action recommendations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities Conduct detailed medical record reviews and coding audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines Prepare and present audit findings and compliance recommendations to clients and stakeholders Develop and deliver education and training sessions for providers and internal team members on documentation and coding practices Required qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare auditing, compliance, or related fields Certified Skilled Medical Auditor (CPMA) and Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certifications are required Experience with healthcare regulatory guidelines and conducting detailed medical record reviews Advanced knowledge of coding, documentation, and compliance auditing methodologies
