Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping Department Float! In this vital role, you will ensure that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness . You’ll be the go-to person, providing essential support across various areas of the housekeeping department. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

What you’ll do

- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Assist in deep cleaning projects as needed, ensuring all areas meet Brand requirements.
- Respond promptly to requests from team members and management, demonstrating flexibility in your role.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Uphold company policies regarding safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices at all times.
- Thoroughly cleaning all staff and public areas, bathrooms and stocking items as necessary
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Stocking the Housekeeping storage area and carts with amenities and supplies
- Disposing of waste and recyclables, replenishing bags
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
- Maintaining confidentiality of all guests and information
- Operate and monitor washing and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps on dryers;
- Clean, fold and maintain all hotel linens
- Identify and report stained or damaged laundry
- Clean all aspects of the guest room, including beds, furniture, bathroom, floors, etc.
- Ensure linen and bedding are up to hotel standards
- Ensure rooms are fully stocked with amenities
- Report any damages and deficiencies through internal procedures
- Maintain cleaning equipment, stocking of carts,



chemical trays, and linen rooms
- Train new Team Members
- Ensure that Lost and Found articles are stored properly and that the correct logs are maintained
- Perform other related duties as required by the Manager/Supervisor

Basic qualifications

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be punctual and able to adhere to timelines and schedules

Preferred qualifications

- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with safe handling practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
