We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing Toronto team. The successful candidate will be a proactive, organized, and accountable leader who takes pride in quality construction and understands the standards required in luxury residential building.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily site operations and coordinate trades, subcontractors, and in-house labour.
- Conduct trade onboarding, including site safety orientation, site rules, safety requirements, and review of each trade’s scope of work prior to commencing work.
- Ensure trade representatives understand their responsibilities and communicate applicable site requirements and scope expectations to their crews.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, sequencing, and schedule in coordination with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator to ensure the project is on track and timelines are met.
- Review and interpret current architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior drawings.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional job site in accordance with applicable Ontario safety requirements and company policies.
- Ensure site safety and compliance with OHSA safety standards as set by the Ministry of Labour.
- Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, storage, access, and protection of completed work.
- Establish material take-offs, manage pickups,



and order materials as requested or needed; deliver materials and tools from storage to project sites.
- Identify construction, coordination, and quality issues early and implement practical solutions.
- Maintain daily/weekly site logs, progress photos, site documentation, and temperature/humidity records as required.
- Communicate site progress, deficiencies, material requirements, delays, and upcoming work to the Project Manager.
- Conduct site walkthroughs with trades, consultants, inspectors, architects, and clients.
- Perform hands-on construction tasks when required, including carpentry, drywall repairs, site maintenance, and general labour.
- Represent Whitaker Construction professionally with trades, clients, consultants, neighbours, and project partners.

Skills Required

- 5+ years of residential construction experience; luxury custom home experience is an asset.
- Robust knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, and building practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate and supervise multiple trades.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior drawings.
- Extensive knowledge of structural framing, steel, building envelope, and high-end finish carpentry/joinery.
- Strong carpentry and general construction skills.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and residential building systems.
- Strong understanding of construction quality control and site safety requirements in Ontario.
- Ability to identify potential construction, coordination,



and finishing issues before they become deficiencies.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and project management skills.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $82,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
