Merci Mon Ami Dressing makes artisan small batch vinaigrettes, barbecue sauces, hot sauces and seasonings in Toronto. We have won multiple medals at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, including one Grand Champion title. We sell through Faire, Makers Stores, independent specialty retailers and trade shows such as the One Of A Kind Show. We are hiring someone to grow our online sales, run our shows and bring in new stores.
What you will do
- Improve our website and online ordering
- Send an email newsletter to customers every month
- Post on Instagram and other social media at least once a week, and reply to comments and messages
- Run all trade show booths, from setup and selling to takedown
- Find and contact new retail and corporate gift leads, and follow up with current stores and clients
- Track stock and sales by store, show and product
- Pack and ship wholesale and online orders from our storage unit
What we are looking for
- Experience with Wix
- Experience writing emails and posting on social media for a business or brand
- Experience in sales, events,
retail or food products
- Robust spreadsheet skills and an organized approach
- Able to lift 40 pounds, drive to shows and work weekends when necessary
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
Assets
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign for product photos, social graphics, labels, packaging and printed materials
Hours and pay. 25 to 35 hours per week, with the chance to grow to full time. Pay is $24 to $28 per hour depending on experience, plus a bonus for new store accounts and show sales. Work from our unit office or from home, however, there are weekly meetings at our boardroom.
