Job Overview

As a Store Associate, you’ll support customers throughout their shopping experience, from finding products to completing purchases. You’ll help maintain an organized, welcoming store and contribute to effective merchandising and sales.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, ask questions to understand their needs, and recommend suitable products using clear communication, customer service, and sales skills.
- Demonstrate products, support upselling and negotiation, and assist with retail sales, inside sales, outside sales, high-end sales, and account management as appropriate.
- Operate POS systems, cashier accurately, handle cash, and use basic math to complete transactions.
- Organize merchandise, support marketing activities, and apply relevant product knowledge, including renovation or construction experience, CAD, or SketchUp where useful.

Qualifications

Required: Transparent communication, customer service, organizational skills, basic math, POS operation, and accurate cashiering and cash handling support daily sales and store service. Preferred: Retail sales experience, product demos, merchandising, marketing, negotiation, upselling, account management, and inside or outside sales are valuable; multilingual abilities and English proficiency, plus knowledge of renovation, construction, CAD, or SketchUp, can further support customers.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 44.0 per week
