Do you believe meaningful client care begins with connection?
At Building Bridges Counselling Services, we believe that connection is at the heart of meaningful counselling. That belief extends beyond the relationships we build with our clients to the relationships we foster within our team.
We are a collaborative, multidisciplinary private practice that values connection, mutual support, respect, diverse perspectives, and ongoing professional growth. We believe great counselling happens when professionals feel supported, have opportunities to learn from one another, and can bring their unique strengths and experiences to the work they do.
Our team is built on the understanding that we each have something valuable to contribute. We welcome different perspectives, encourage open communication, and strive to create an environment where clinicians feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and growing in their practice.
Using a client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed approach, we provide counselling to individuals, couples, families, and youth, working together to support a diverse range of needs and experiences.
What Makes Building Bridges Different?
Collaboration is more than a value we talk about; it is part of how we work. Our team-based approach includes consultation, shared learning, and opportunities to benefit from the experience and perspectives of fellow clinicians.
We also offer a unique Co-Counselling Model, in which clients can work with two counsellors together. This approach creates opportunities for collaborative treatment planning, complementary clinical perspectives, and additional support for both clients and clinicians.
We understand that working in private practice can sometimes feel isolating. At Building Bridges, we want our clinicians to know they have a team alongside them. We value the people we work with, celebrate the strengths they bring, and believe that professional growth is something we can support together.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated counselling professional who is excited to develop a thriving caseload while becoming an engaged member of our multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will provide ethical, client-centered clinical counselling within your scope of practice, supporting individuals, couples, families, and potentially youth. You will work with clients presenting with a variety of concerns and have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues who bring different experiences, areas of knowledge, and clinical perspectives.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Warm, approachable, and committed to building meaningful therapeutic relationships.
- Collaborative and comfortable working within a team-based environment.
- Open to learning, consultation, and ongoing professional development.
- Organized, dependable, and committed to ethical clinical practice.
- Interested in contributing to a supportive team and growing with our practice over the longer term.
