Job Overview

As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll transport freight safely and reliably, supporting smooth deliveries and day-to-day operations. The role involves commercial driving, careful load handling, and coordination with colleagues to keep shipments moving and customers informed.

Responsibilities

- Drive commercial vehicles on assigned routes, following applicable road and site procedures.
- Inspect vehicles and freight before and during trips, securing loads and reporting damage or concerns.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery details with colleagues, providing timely updates when plans change.
- Operate relevant heavy equipment safely and assist with loading or unloading where needed.

Requirements

Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling,



attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures and communicate clearly are essential to completing deliveries and coordinating work. Preferred: Forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and basic automotive repair skills are advantageous, along with related experience supporting transport or freight operations. Your impact: Careful driving and explicit updates help colleagues plan efficiently and customers receive freight reliably.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
