Kinesiologist/ Physiotherapist Assistant at C.A.R.E. Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre – Richmond Hill, ON

Physiotherapy/ RMT clinic looking for a motivated, empathetical, caring and energetic physiotherapist assistant who enjoys working with the injured population, athletes and clients.

An educational background in Kinesiology, Biology or Health Science, knowledge in anatomy, human and exercise physiology is strongly recommended. Successful candidate will work under the supervisions of physiotherapists at the clinic.

Days of service are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday all year round.

Job Duties:

- Ensure safety of patients while they are in the clinic exercising and using equipment.

- Demonstrate exercises to patients and reinforcing proper form and mechanics.

- Progress patients' exercises based on their tolerance and abilities.

- Perform Ultrasound, PRF, hydrotherapy, wax, IFC, Laser and etc for patients as prescribed by the physiotherapists.





- Remove modalities from patients on completion of treatments.

- Prepare hot and cold therapy treatments for patients.

- Compose exercise program on software to email to patients.

- Maintain cleanliness and order of the clinic and treatment rooms.

- Housekeeping duties.

- Supervise coop and volunteer students from local high schools and universities.

- Order, restock and purchase clinic supplies.

- Front desk assist, phone and booking appointment.

Experience:

- Recent grads are welcomed. Certification is not a necessity.

Education:

- Bachelor's (Preferred)

Language:

- English (Required)
- Chinese Cantonese/Mandarin but not a requirement (preferred)

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
