Overview

As a 2nd Year Apprentice Electrician, you’ll support electrical installation and maintenance work while developing practical skills alongside experienced colleagues. You’ll work with hand tools and power tools, follow schematics and blueprints, and contribute to safe, organized job-site work. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience across electrical tasks and opportunities to strengthen your trade skills.

Responsibilities

- Assist with electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks under appropriate supervision.
- Use hand tools and power tools carefully, and help prepare and organize materials for assigned work.
- Read schematics and blueprints to support work involving electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Keep work areas orderly and share explicit updates with colleagues to support coordinated, efficient work.

Practical electrical experience, safe use of hand tools and power tools, and the ability to follow schematics and read blueprints are essential for supporting assigned work. Attention to detail and clear communication help you follow instructions and coordinate tasks. Preferred: Industrial electrician experience, low voltage familiarity, and construction experience are valuable strengths. Pay: $22.00-$39.18 per hour
