Job Overview

The Line Cook (West African Cuisine) prepares and cooks dishes for restaurant service, following recipes and kitchen procedures to support consistent quality. This hands-on role includes food preparation, meal preparation, and coordination with the kitchen team during service. You’ll help deliver flavorful, well-prepared meals and keep service running smoothly for guests and colleagues.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and meals using safe food handling practices and established recipes.
- Cook West African dishes consistently, monitor food quality, and coordinate timing with the kitchen team.
- Support serving and food service by preparing orders accurately and communicating clearly with colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow food safety practices throughout each shift.

Experience

Required:



Practical cooking, food preparation, meal preparation, food handling, and food safety skills are key for completing kitchen duties and supporting reliable service. Attention to detail and teamwork help maintain quality during busy periods. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience is helpful, along with familiarity with West African cuisine. Your impact: Consistent preparation helps colleagues serve guests timely, satisfying meals.

Pay: $18.25-$26.54 per hour
