Acadia Atlantic ULC (Acadia Marjam) is a market-leading supplier of drywall, steel studs, insulation, ceiling systems, and other essential construction materials. We pride ourselves on reliability and service excellence. We are currently seeking a motivated, safety-conscious Boom Truck Operator / Driver to join our expanding team in our Dartmouth location.

Position Overview

In this role, you will safely operate company vehicles and equipment to deliver materials to our clients across the region. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating a boom, crane, or mobile crane, and possesses a strong commitment to professional, secure, and courteous driving.

Key Responsibilities

- Safe Operation: Drive and operate boom trucks, cranes, or mobile cranes in strict accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Site Leadership: Provide clear, professional direction to the on-site delivery team during offloading and placement of materials.
- Material Handling: Assist with the safe loading, unloading, and securing of heavy construction materials.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Required Qualifications & Attributes

- Licensing: Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Proven experience operating a Boom, Crane, or mobile crane.
- Physical Capability:



Ability to heavy lift and carry up to 100 lbs (utilizing a 2-person lift system).
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
- Dependability: Reliable personal means of transportation and shift flexibility to accommodate business needs.
- Professionalism: Ability to follow and execute instructions seamlessly while maintaining a team-player attitude.

Preferred Assets (Nice-to-Have)

- Current Forklift Certification.
- Experience delivering drywall and heavy construction materials.
- Background in warehousing or material handling.
