Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory handling.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying orders and preparing items for shipment or storage.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks, moving materials and products throughout the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning.
- Support warehouse distribution activities,
including pallet jack operation and materials handling for construction or industrial projects if required.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize operational workflows and improve safety practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles within a warehouse environment.
- Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment processes.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations is advantageous.
- Warehouse supervisor experience or construction background is a plus but not required.
