Our award-winning tutoring centre is looking for teachers who can teach high school students online; the students are in China taking a program that will allow them to come to Canada for university, but they need to improve their skills. While they will not be aiming for IELTS or TOEFL specifically, the teacher will be teaching to IELTS and TOEFL equivalent levels, so familiarity with these tests is preferable.

Our centre will provide the curriculum and materials; teachers only need to familiarize themselves with the content and curriculum before teaching.

The teaching hours are from 5:00pm onward into the evening both Fridays and Saturdays. This position is ideal for someone working in the BC Public School system looking to moonlight for extra work.

Teachers must have experience teaching online.

Teachers MUST be native speakers of English or speak English so well as to be indistinguishable from a native speaker. Preference will be given to candidates with a BC Teacher’s Certificate.

Further teaching opportunities may also be available depending on the candidate’s availability.
