To lead the design of advanced building automation systems, the full time Senior BAS Controls Designer will work remotely, creating innovative designs for HVAC and energy management systems while driving process improvements and mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities: Lead the design and development of DDC control systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards Analyze engineering processes to enhance efficiency and develop standard operating procedures for streamlined workflows Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members while collaborating with project stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable designs Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing DDC control systems with a proven track record of successful project leadership Proficiency in building automation protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, Lon
Works) and system integration Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and control panel design Expertise in CAD software and controls design tools, with experience in process improvement methodologies preferred
