Job Title: Business Analyst Risk Technology (RSA Archer) Primary Skills: RSA Archer (GRC), Business Requirements Analysis, SQL & Data Mapping Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join the Risk Technology team.

The ideal candidate will support initiatives focused on operational risk management, business resilience, governance, financial data management, and enterprise data management.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, risk partners, Product Owners, and technology teams to translate business needs into clear requirements, analyze and validate data, support testing activities, and contribute to the delivery of effective risk and resilience solutions.

This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in operational risk management, regulatory reporting, data integration, and enterprise technology within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities Gather, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and data requirements.

Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and decision documents.

Develop and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation for data ingestion and reporting initiatives.

Analyze and validate operational risk and business resiliency data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and QA teams to clarify requirements and support solution delivery.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirements workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and production validation activities.

Assist with data quality, reconciliation,



and reporting initiatives.

Track project risks, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and action items.

Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with governance and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 1 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Project Delivery, or a related discipline.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power

Point.

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar collaboration tools.

Basic understanding of SQL and data analysis concepts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile setting.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with RSA Archer or other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms.

Knowledge of operational risk, business resilience, compliance, audit, or regulatory processes.

Experience supporting data integration, reporting, or data warehousing initiatives.

Exposure to Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, or other enterprise data platforms.

Experience in financial services, insurance, or risk management organizations.
