Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Piping Designer will manage projects for industrial and pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring schedule adherence and technical quality while mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities Oversee the technical quality and schedule of assigned engineering tasks Review vendor drawings and execute piping engineering design while developing design estimates Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly to maintain project alignment Required qualifications Associate's degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a similar technical degree At least 15 years of piping design experience Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software, specifically Hexagon Smartplant S3D and Autodesk Plant 3D Ideally located near the Cincinnati office, but open to candidates anywhere in the US
