Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to gain insight into their emotional and psychological concerns,



and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their specific goals and needs.

Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques including, but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care.

Actively collaborate with other mental health professionals and practitioners to deliver comprehensive support throughout the therapeutic process, ensuring consistent and holistic care.

Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, using electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently.

Participate in ongoing professional development through training opportunities, including workshops, peer reviews, and team meetings, to stay abreast of the latest industry practices.

Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in immediate distress, ensuring their safety and well-being during challenging situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will center on serving a diverse clientele with a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more.

You will work compassionately with individuals dealing with emotional distress, offering them the tools and support to navigate their challenges and achieve greater emotional well-being in a supportive and affirming manner.

Qualifications A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Current licensure as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.





Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Commitment to delivering culturally competent and inclusive care in all client interactions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience providing direct counseling services to individuals, couples, or families.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is beneficial.

Proven ability to work independently while also being a valuable team player within a multidisciplinary team setting.
