Job Summary

The Construction Labourer supports residential construction, home renovation, remodeling, and restoration projects at King's Mill Construction. This hands-on role involves preparing job sites, handling building materials, and assisting skilled tradespeople with various construction and renovation tasks. The position helps ensure that residential projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain construction and renovation work areas, load and unload materials, and use hand and power tools to support daily operations.
- Assist with residential carpentry, framing, drywall installation, caulking, interior and exterior painting, flooring installation, and tile work.
- Support kitchen and bathroom renovations, home additions, and general residential remodeling projects.
- Assist with basic plumbing-related tasks and other specialized construction work as directed by experienced tradespeople.
- Follow construction drawings, blueprints, and instructions when completing assigned tasks.
- Help with demolition, repair, and restoration work,



including site preparation and cleanup.
- Maintain organized tools, equipment, and building materials while following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with carpenters, contractors, supervisors, and other crew members to keep projects progressing smoothly.

Requirements

Required: Ability to use basic hand and power tools, follow instructions, handle construction materials, and perform physical tasks safely. Good communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Preferred: Previous experience in residential construction, home renovations, or restoration work. Familiarity with carpentry, framing, drywall, caulking, blueprint reading, painting, flooring, tile installation, and basic plumbing tasks is an asset.

Pay: From $25.14 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
