Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our bakery production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring food processing and packaging equipment to ensure efficient production and consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

· Set up, operate, and adjust bakery production and packaging machines.

· Lift bagged ingredients with a weight of 23kg (50lbs) to the opening of mixing vessels. (example: bagged sugar, bagged flour)

· Operate equipment used for mixing, processing, baking, and packaging bakery products.

· Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to maintain production quality and consistency.

· Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.

· Identify and clear machine blockages and perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments.

· Record daily production quantities and product information.

· Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements





· Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant experience in food processing, bakery production, or machine operation.

· Previous baking or bakery production experience is mandatory.

· Hands-on experience operating food production machinery.

· Knowledge of bakery production processes and finished product quality standards.

· Ability to identify equipment issues and perform basic machine adjustments.

Assets

· Diploma or certificate in Baking, Pastry Arts, or a related field.

· Experience operating industrial bakery equipment.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 44.0 per week
