Job Summary

Element Construction is looking for a highly experienced carpenter to join our growing team. We are seeking a skilled, dependable tradesperson with extensive residential framing experience who takes pride in quality workmanship.

We specialize in high performance custom home construction and residential renovations. Our projects require a high level of skill, attention to detail, and thorough understanding of quality construction practices.

This is a senior-level position for someone who can confidently work independently, or lead a small team.

Duties

- Complete residential framing from foundation to roof.
- Layout and frame floors, walls, roof systems, and structural components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and structural details.
- Ensure framing is accurate, square, level, and plumb.
- Identify and resolve framing challenges and construction details.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Coordinate with project managers, site leads, and other trades.
- Assist with other aspects of residential construction as required.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe job site.

Experience

- Minimum 8 years of hands-on residential carpentry experience preferred.




- Extensive wood-frame construction and residential framing experience is essential.
- Proven ability to independently frame custom homes.
- Strong knowledge of floor systems, wall framing, roof framing, and structural details.
- Excellent blueprint reading and layout skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and work through complex construction details.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
