Overview

Community Care Workers provide respectful, practical support that helps people maintain comfort, dignity, and daily routines in their homes or care settings. The role combines personal care, household assistance, and attentive support tailored to each individual.

Duties

- Assist with patient care, senior care, dementia care, and support for individuals with disabilities, adapting your approach to each person’s needs.
- Support daily routines through meal preparation, cleaning, caregiving, and appropriate medication administration.
- Provide home care and, where relevant, support in assisted living, nursing home, or hospice care settings.
- Follow care instructions, communicate changes in wellbeing, and use protected practices when tasks involve heavy lifting or nursing support.

Skills

Required: Practical caregiving skills, patience, clear communication, and the ability to follow care instructions while supporting daily activities safely and respectfully. Preferred: Assisted living, patient care, nursing home, senior care, hospice care, disability support, dementia care, home care, nursing, cleaning, meal preparation, medication administration, or heavy lifting experience can strengthen your contribution across varied care settings.

Pay: $19.32-$26.04 per hour
