Wide Format Printer Operator & Bindery Finisher

Allrush Print and Apparel is seeking an experienced Wide Format Printer Operator & Bindery Finisher to join our production team. This hands-on role involves operating wide format printers, preparing print files, and completing finishing work for signs, decals, labels, and other printed products.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in accurate, clean work and can manage multiple jobs while meeting production deadlines.

Responsibilities

- Operate three Roland wide format printers.
- Prepare, set up, and process print files using Roland VersaWorks.
- Check artwork, sizing, media settings, and job specifications before printing.
- Monitor print quality, troubleshoot production issues, and perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
- Mount and apply printed vinyl to Coroplast, foamcore, sandwich boards, and other substrates.
- Complete wide format finishing, including trimming decals, weeding vinyl, and applying transfer masking, trimming and installing banner stands, hemming and grommeting banners.
- Operate a label printer and label finishing machine.
- Inspect completed work for print quality, accuracy, and finishing consistency.
- Follow work orders, organize materials, and maintain a clean production area.

Qualifications





- Previous hands-on experience operating wide format printers and completing sign and decal finishing is required.
- Experience with Roland printers and VersaWorks is strongly preferred.
- Ability to mount vinyl accurately and complete detailed trimming, weeding, and masking work.
- Solid attention to detail and the ability to read and follow production instructions.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple jobs.
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling rolls of media and signage materials.
- Experience with label printing and finishing equipment is an asset.
