Dayton Power & Controls Inc. is a commercial and industrial electrical contractor working across BC and Alberta, focused on industrial projects, telecom, generators and controls.
We're hiring registered apprentice electricians for industrial projects in Calgary and Edmonton. Start date is late November / December 2026. This is about a 6-month project with potential for long-term work.
What you'll do
- Work alongside journeymen installing feeders, conduit, cable tray and equipment
- Pull cable, bend conduit and support terminations
- Keep the work area organized and material flowing
What you bring
- Registered Alberta electrical apprentice, 2nd–4th year
- Commercial or industrial experience preferred
- Fall protection, elevated work platform and WHMIS (or willing to obtain)
- Your own basic hand tools and reliable transportation
What we offer
- Pay by apprenticeship period: 2nd year $30–$33/hr, 3rd year $34–$37/hr, 4th year $38–$41/hr
- Hours signed off on large-scale industrial work
