We are expanding our Sign Foundation Installation Division and are looking for a hardworking, dependable individual who enjoys outdoor work and wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, fencing, utility installation, interlocking stone or concrete driveway construction who wants to learn a specialized trade.

Position Overview

Position: Concrete Foundation Crew Helper – Signage

Working directly with our Lead Sign Foundation Installer, you will assist in installing concrete foundations for custom commercial signage throughout Ontario.

Every day is different. You will work on a variety of projects, including large pylon signs, wayfinding signs, municipal signs, schools, churches and commercial developments.

This is a physically active, hands-on outdoor position with opportunities to learn specialized construction skills and advance within the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with excavation of sign foundations.
- Load and unload equipment, materials and tools.
- Assist with the operation of augers, skid steers and compact construction equipment.
- Install sonotubes, rebar cages and anchor bolt templates.
- Assist with placing electrical conduits and sleeves.
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing.
- Backfill and restore job sites after foundation installation.
- Maintain trucks, trailers, tools and equipment.
- Help organize tools and materials before leaving the shop.
- Follow all safety procedures and instructions from the Crew Leader.
- Work as part of a two- or three-person foundation installation crew.
- Travel to project locations throughout Ontario, including occasional weekday overnight stays.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in construction, landscaping, concrete forming, concrete driveway installation, fence installation, excavation, utility construction, interlocking stone or general construction.
- Valid full Ontario Class G driver's licence with an acceptable driving record.
- Comfortable driving company pickup trucks.




- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor construction work, including lifting and handling materials and equipment.
- Willing and able to work outdoors throughout the year, including winter conditions.
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Able to follow instructions carefully and work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to travel throughout Ontario and stay overnight during weekdays when project schedules require it.
- Available for occasional extended hours, evenings and weekends as required.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Experience – Assets, Not Requirements

- Concrete forming, placement or finishing.
- Excavation and foundation installation.
- Operating skid steers, mini excavators, augers or other compact construction equipment.
- Towing equipment trailers.
- Landscaping, fencing, driveway construction or similar outdoor trades.
- Reading basic construction drawings or understanding site layouts.
- Working at Heights or other construction safety certifications.

You do not need previous sign foundation installation experience. Training will be provided.

Working Schedule and Location





- Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
- Work Location: Based at 70 Modern Road, Scarborough, Ontario, with field work throughout Ontario.
- Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday.
- Additional Hours: Occasional overtime, evenings and weekends depending on project requirements.
- Travel: Occasional weekday overnight stays within Ontario.
- Pay: $20.00–$28.00 per hour.
