Job Summary

This role is Seasonal and runs from mid November to mid April with the possibility of extending into a year-round role. Typical working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving in snowy weather conditions.

We are looking for a reliable Housekeeping Runner to help manage our daily linen logistics between Kelowna and Big White Mountain. If you enjoy driving, staying active, and keeping busy, this role is perfect for you.

This job involves driving a company van from Kelowna to Big White and back to Kelowna on a daily basis. As a Housekeeping Runner, you'll begin the day by loading a van with fresh laundry for the day's checkouts, drive to Big White, deliver the laundry across the mountain, transport team members to and from different properties, collect dirty linens, and return to Kelowna to unload the van.

Key Responsibilities

- Morning prep: Begin your shift in Kelowna by loading a company van with fresh linens and laundry supplies for the day's resort checkouts.
- The Drive: Safely operate the company vehicle on the daily return route from Kelowna to Big White.
- Resort Distribution: Deliver clean laundry to various properties and chalets across the mountain.
- On-Mountain Collection: Gather dirty linens from various properties and load them back into the van.
- Wrap-Up:



Return to Kelowna and the end of the day to unload the van and prepare for the next morning.
- Other responsibilities include: Reporting maintenance concerns to the appropriate colleague; Responding to housekeeping requests promptly; Communicate updates; Coordinate with team members on priorities

Skills

Required: A valid BC Class 5 Driver's License, reliability, and clear communication are important for completing tasks safely, keeping supplies organized, and supporting housekeeping workflows. Physical ability to lift, load, and unload heavy bags of laundry throughout the shift.

Preferred: Hotel experience, hospitality knowledge, industrial cleaning familiarity, or custodial experience can help you adapt to wide-ranging spaces and service requests.
