We are seeking reliable General Labour candidates for a temp-to-hire opportunity in an automotive manufacturing setting in Mississauga near Dixie and Derry. This role is ideal for individuals with 1 to 2 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, or general labour experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced plant setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Rack and un-rack automotive parts according to work instructions and production requirements.
- Load and unload parts weighing approximately 1 to 20 lbs. from racks in a manufacturing environment.
- Perform basic visual inspections and report non-conformances to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Maintain department safety, housekeeping, quality, and productivity standards.
- Operate tools and equipment used in the racking process safely and correctly.
- Participate in shift communication meetings, required training, and other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Details:
- Pay: $18.94 per hour.
- Location: Mississauga
- Work environment: Automotive manufacturing plant. The facility can be loud and may be warm, hot, or humid.
