We're building a roster of reliable security professionals who can keep events safe, smooth, and enjoyable—without killing the vibe. As an Event Security Professional, you'll provide a visible, professional security presence at events—managing entry points, checking credentials, monitoring crowds, and responding to incidents. Shifts vary by event, including evenings and weekends. This is ideal for security professionals looking for flexible, event-based work with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

- Control access points and verify tickets, credentials, and wristbands
- Monitor crowds and maintain a visible security presence
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and requests for assistance
- Assist with crowd management and emergency evacuations if needed
- Communicate professionally with attendees, staff, and event organizers




- Complete incident reports accurately
- Follow all site safety and event security procedures

Qualifications

- Valid Security Guard Licence in the relevant province
- Previous event security, crowd management, or guard experience is an asset
- Strong observation skills and good judgment under pressure
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Professional, courteous manner with the public
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors as needed
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset

Pay: $25.00-$30.29 per hour
