The Building Cleaner helps maintain clean, orderly, and welcoming building spaces through consistent cleaning and basic facilities maintenance. This hands-on role supports the daily upkeep of shared areas and helps colleagues and building users enjoy a comfortable, well-maintained environment.

Duties

- Clean and maintain floors, surfaces, washrooms, and shared spaces using appropriate methods and supplies.
- Complete routine facilities maintenance tasks and report repair needs or safety concerns promptly.
- Check assigned areas regularly, replenish cleaning supplies as needed, and keep equipment stored safely.
- Coordinate with colleagues to prioritize cleaning tasks and support smooth day-to-day building operations.

Experience

Required: Practical cleaning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safe, consistent procedures while maintaining facilities. Preferred: Commercial cleaning experience and familiarity with routine maintenance tasks are valuable strengths that can help you work efficiently across diverse building areas. Reliability, organization, and clear communication support effective coordination with colleagues and timely reporting of issues.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
