About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and fast-paced Line Cook to join our team in Surrey. You will manage the fry and stovetop stations, prepare core menu items to order, and assist with daily prep, including making authentic house sauces.

Key Responsibilities

- Stovetop & Fryer Operation: Prepare orders quickly and accurately on the line, including calamari, chicken, pasta dishes, and veal parmesan.
- Sauce & Station Prep: Batch-prepare signature Greek and Italian sauces, dressings, and marinades following established recipes.
- Station Setup & Maintenance: Keep fryers, stoves, and prep areas clean, safe, and stocked throughout service.
- Food Safety & Quality: Ensure correct internal cooking temperatures, portion sizes, and adherence to safe food handling guidelines.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.




- Direct hands-on experience operating commercial fryers and gas ranges/stovetops.
- Familiarity with cooked-to-order pastas, deep-fried seafood/poultry (calamari, chicken), and breaded cutlets (veal parm).
- Solid knife skills and experience with batch sauce prep.
- Valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a hot, high-volume environment.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
