We are looking for a motivated and reliable electrician with an interest in industrial service work. The successful candidate will work on a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
The level of responsibility will depend on the successful applicant's experience and apprenticeship level.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Assist with or perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing based on experience level.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Complete work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety requirements.
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Work independently where appropriate and effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
- Registered 2nd, 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice OR Journeyman Electrician.
- Red Seal endorsement required for Journeyman applicants.
- Industrial electrical/service experience is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Basic electrical tools appropriate to your apprenticeship or experience level.
- Required personal safety gear, including CSA-approved work boots, coveralls, and high-visibility clothing. Safety glasses and gloves are provided.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safe work practices.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills appropriate to experience level.
- Reliable, qualified, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently where appropriate and as part of a team.
Pay: $27.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
