Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Tempura items, ensuring light, crispy batter and proper frying techniques
- Assemble and press Oshi sushi with precision, maintaining authentic presentation standards
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, marinating, and garnishing ingredients
- Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple orders




- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times to guarantee guest safety

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially with Japanese cuisine preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques including frying, slicing, and assembling sushi
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction when needed
- Willingness to learn new culinary skills related to Tempura and Oshi preparation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
