South Slope Pharmacy has an opportunity for a part-time (approximately 25 hours per week, which will eventually become a full-time position) Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team. Job Description

- Assist pharmacist in accurately preparing prescriptions
- Entering and processing prescriptions through KrollRx
- Perform all task related to ordering, receiving and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections
- Operate Point-of-sale system
- Compounding prescriptions
- Preparing Compliance Packages
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to Confidentiality and privacy requirements
- Assist in front-store

Skills and Expectations





- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Proactive
- To work proactively, able to problem solve and prioritize tasks
- Strong work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Adaptable and fast learner
- Six months or more experience as a pharmacy assistant
- Must be proficient with Kroll Rx
- Able to work independently and perform all pharmacy tasks
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Mandarin would be an asset
- Canadian Pharmacy Experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
