Summary

As a Truck Dispatcher/Load Planner, you will coordinate truck dispatch and freight planning. Your impact: Explicit, timely coordination helps drivers and customers stay informed and supports reliable freight movement.
Responsibilities

- Coordinate truck dispatch and plan freight loads.
- Inbound/Outbound dispatch.
- Booking Loads from Load Link as required
- Direct the pick-up and delivery activities of drivers
- Provide accurate directions for pick-up and delivery services
- Coordinating with different parties - internal and external
- Communicating with outside carriers/customers
- Able to work independently
- Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers
- Positive attitude with a willingness to get the job done quickly
- Track and update shipment information in transportation management systems.
- Enter and review data to support accurate dispatch and load planning.




- Coordinate shipping and receiving details as needed.

Qualifications

- 2 years experience is must
- Own Customer Base will be an asset.
- Knowledge of Transportation industry.
- Familiarity with Dispatch Software(Trans plus-Fleet Manager)
- Understanding of Canada/US geography.
- Knowledge of ACE/ACI and Customs/Border Crossing.
- Working ability with MS Word and Excel.
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills.
- Strong Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Creative and effective problem solving ability.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
