Title: Security Guard Industrial

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Site Overview

This industrial role supports key operational facilities in the region, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors through proactive patrols and access control.

What You'll Be Doing

- Manage access control by verifying identity, issuing badges, and maintaining visitor and contractor sign-in logs.

- Perform foot and mobile patrols across interior and exterior areas to inspect facilities, prevent crime, and address safety risks.

- Monitor building systems, CCTV, card access, and fire alarms, responding quickly to incidents and emergencies.

- Provide safety and security escorts for employees and unauthorized individuals as needed.

- Administer First Aid (OFA Level 1), CPR, and AED response when required.

- Complete key control management, safety equipment inspections, and clear, detailed incident reports.

Must Haves

- Valid BC Provincial Security License and Basic Security Training (BST).

- Minimum 3 months of experience as a security guard.

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

- Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (OFA Level 1).

- Basic computer skills for report documentation and system monitoring.

Nice-to-Haves

- Prior experience working on industrial or resource sector client sites.

- Familiarity with site emergency response procedures and incident command liaison.
